From peer pressure to bullying, from social media to family dynamics, from pressure to engage in sexual activity and drug use, what teenagers have to deal with today are difficult and multi-faceted. Some of the issues that we are capable of dealing with at Compass Counseling: peer pressure, bullying, screen-time management, teens who are engaging in risky sexual activity or who are experimenting with drugs and/or alcohol, self-harm and suicidal ideation, suicide attempt, youth with a history of psychiatric hospitalization, teenagers that have a 504 plan or an IEP at school, depression and anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, anger and aggression, history of criminal behavior, family conflict, youth with a history of abuse and/or neglect, oppositional and defiant behaviors, school behavior problems, running away from home, chronic truancy, questioning sexuality and/or gender identity.
