First, great job being here! Finding a counselor is an important task, and finding one that matches your needs is even more important. I am so appreciative that you are here. I might be a good match for you if: you are interested in working with a counselor that will take a collaborative journey with you, that will listen, challenge, and validate you, and will sprinkle in a bit of humor (when the time is right). I believe we strive to be our best selves, but we don’t always know what ‘best selves’ mean; that is where I come in!
I see clients ages 12+ with various diagnoses/needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, grief/loss, and identity development. I can provide sessions virtually or in the office (or a mix). I have been in private clinical practice for 2+ years. Additionally, I am a clinical assistant faculty at Marquette University.
What does all that mean for you? It means I will work to understand your experiences; I’ll listen and hear your perspectives and work to find the best approaches for you. You are the expert in your life. Therapy is an ongoing practice, and we will start where it is best for you.
Specialties: Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Life Transitions
